Google’s “Unexplained Phenomenon” doodle which appeared on site on September 5th had caused quite a flutter in the web (though I was surprised why in the first place it was made such big news). The company has finally clarified its stand on the issue, putting in rest innumerous theories which were floated around within a short span of time.
The doodle was in honor of the Zero Wing, the Japanese video game of 1980's, which incidentally was celebrating its 20th anniversary
